Photo Release & Portfolio Use Clause

1.What is being permitted
By granting consent, the property owner or client gives the contractor a non-exclusive, royalty-free right to publicly display the before-and-after photographs of the completed work, along with a general description of the work performed, for marketing and portfolio purposes. This may include the contractor’s website, public portfolio page, social media, and printed materials.
2.What is never included
Personal information is not published. The client’s name, street address, phone number, email address, and any other contact or identifying details are never included alongside portfolio photos. Only the photographs and a general description of the work are shown.
3.Withdrawing consent
Consent may be withdrawn at any time by contacting the contractor. Once notified, the contractor will remove the photos from their public portfolio and any materials still under their control. Copies already distributed or printed before the request may not be recoverable.
4.No effect on other terms
Granting or withholding this permission does not affect any invoice, payment schedule, warranty, or other term of the underlying work agreement. It is entirely optional and is not a condition of service.
5.Ownership
The contractor retains ownership of the photographs they captured. This release governs how those photographs may be publicly displayed, not who owns them.
